Installing Amicable

Requirements

ClassicPress 2.0 or later
PHP 7.4 or later

Download the theme

Amicable is free. Download the latest version from the Amicable releases on GitHub. You’ll get a .zip file. Don’t unzip it, as you’ll upload the zip as-is.

Upload and activate

In your dashboard, go to Appearance → Themes and click Add New.
Click Upload Theme, choose the Amicable .zip file, and click Install Now.
Once it’s installed, click Activate.

That’s it. Amicable is now your active theme. Next, head to Customizing Amicable to make it your own.

Updating

To update, download the newest version and upload it the same way. When asked, choose to replace the current version with the uploaded one.

Any changes you made directly to Amicable’s files will be lost when you update. To keep your customizations safe, use a child theme.
